Nello Construction was established as a masonry contractor and operated as one for nearly twenty years before becoming a general contractor.

Retro job trailer! Nello first operated in Monroeville before building a small office on Craig Street in Oakland.

Date of Incorporation! Gito, Inc. DBA Nello Construction Company.
1974
Ponderosa Steakhouse in Uniontown. In addition to Ponderosa, Nello worked for a number of restaurant franchises including Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips, Rax, and Wendy's.

George Leasure, Nello's president, was originally hired as a project estimator. George eventually worked his way into project management and upper management in the 90s.

Gateway Center Station (finished). Gateway Center Station closed on October 30, 2009 and was demolished as part of the North Shore Connector project.

Amos K. Hutchison Bypass on PA Turnpike 66. Nello was contracted to build 15 prefabricated toll booths and 8 off ramp toll plazas.

A historical project, Nello added a second floor to The Fort Pitt Museum located in Point State Park in Pittsburgh.

In a dedication mass for St. Joseph Parish on October 18, George Leasure hands the keys to Bishop David Zubik and parish officials to commission their new sanctuary.
