Elmo Natali Student Union Center
Nello Construction completed the new addition and extensive interior renovations of the Elmo Natali Student Union Center at California University of Pennsylvania. A new rotunda creates a grand entrance to the renovated student union and features a sweeping stairway that leads to an expanded dining hall. Renovated areas house offices for student affairs; women’s center; commuter services; career and professional development center; and internship center. The Gold Rush Dining Area features a state-of-the-art food service facilities.
This multi-phased construction was performed in an occupied building, while ensuring student, faculty and pedestrian safety. Nello Construction self-performed Demolition, Concrete, Rough Carpentry, Doors Frames & Hardware, and Division 10 Specialties. Work entailed extensive data, communication and technology infrastructure. Nello Construction completed this project on time with zero lost-time.
