South Park Elementary School

New two-story construction built on a reclaimed strip mine site.

Extensive landscaping incorporated finished game fields (baseball & soccer fields) including fencing, athletic equipment, backstops and infield mix.

Installed additional asphalt paved parking lot areas.

Playground which incorporated a large playground and a soft play area.

Hard surface play area included a basketball court, painted hopscotch, map of the United States and a world map.

Two-story, open ceiling library/media center features acoustical sound panels, oak paneling and acoustical ceiling clouds.

Each floor has separate color scheme designating different grade levels with accent striping down corridors.

Large gymnasium/cafeteria with large stage area features acoustical sound panels and basketball court.

Completed on time and within budget.
