Edinboro University Cooper Hall

New 60,000 sq. ft. addition and 100,000 sq. ft. of renovations to a 46-year-old science building

Cooper Hall is home to Edinboro University’s biology, chemistry, physics, health services, and geosciences departments

Includes an 800 sq. ft. greenhouse, planetarium, 44 student and faculty labs, offices, and four main lecture halls

A geothermal heating and cooling system was implemented to reduce Edinboro University’s carbon footprint

During phase one of construction, classes resumed in 75% of the building

Worked in collaboration with Astorino, the creators of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System’s Ambulatory Care Center
